There are various benefits to having an online accounting system for your business. The software I recommend are listed below: -

 

Xero, QuickBooks, Sage 50, Dext (Receipt Bank) and Auto Entry I highly recommend. Others to mention are Clear books, Free agent and FreshBooks where I do also have experience in using.

 

Each software is different tailored to business needs and are all competitively priced. I can discuss which software would suit your business and if there would be any room for additional add-ons to assist with the day to day running of your business.  Most businesses are already using software and apps that is already compatible to bookkeeping software and do not know it!

 

HMRC are pushing for making tax digital, making it easier for taxpayers to report to them correctly with their taxes, together effective and efficiently.  They have already rolled this out for VAT and businesses, those who are VAT registered with a turnover below the £85,000 threshold will be required to follow the making tax digital rules regardless by April 2022.

 

The next target for this will be by 6 April 2023 for smaller self-employed businesses and landlords with annual income above £10,000. This is coming! So be prepared forward thinking, stress free and ahead of the curve.
